Make Music Upper Perk
A one day celebration of the role of music in our lives. MMUP is the local installment of an international movement to celebrate the power of local music. Cities, towns, and hamlets all over the world make music on June 21st, the first day of Summer.
Grace Notes Piano students and friends have taken part in Make Music Upper Perk every year it`s been held so far, and look forward to continued participation!
Piano in the Park
As MMUP begins the summer with music, Piano in the Park wraps up the summer season with a very informal performance opportunity at New Goshenhoppen Park on Labor Day weekend. Our students are the ‘warm up act’ for the Allentown Band, and play in the bandshell for an appreciative audience.
Grace Notes students provide dinner music in the background at the Community Meal on the 1st Monday of each month. This gives students a wonderful opportunity to review their repertoire and develop their performance chops in a low pressure setting -- and the diners love the ambience created by the music!
